Jeff Budzowski, a Graduate Master Builder, with 30 years experience in the construction industry has joined Pepperwood Signature Homes & Remodeling. Jeff will be managing both new construction and remodeling projects for Pepperwood. Jeff is also a part owner of Tower Park Construction located in Twinsburg. Jeff’s joining Pepperwood is a result of Pepperwood’s Owner, Chris Tsonton and Jeff having the recent experience of working together on a large renovation project with exceptional results. The two well-known builders are putting their professional expertise together to provide the Northeast Ohio area with one of the best teams of custom builders.

Jeff has an Associates Degree in Architecture and Construction Technology from Kent State University. He has also earned several titles from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB): Certified Graduate Builder (CGB), Certified Aging In Place Specialist (CAPS), Certified Green Professional (CGP), and Graduate Master Builder (GMB). The GMB, the highest designation that a builder can receive, is earned by completing a regularly updated curriculum of industry-related topics and taking continuing education courses in professional management. And a GMB also is required to pledge a commitment to a professional Code of Ethics. The GMB designation demonstrates a commitment to excellence that consumers can use to judge a builder. Jeff is one of only two builders in northeast Ohio to hold the GMB designation.

Jeff also believes in being actively involved in the local building industry. He has served on the Board of Trustees of the Greater Cleveland Home Builders Association (HBA) for the past 6 years. In 2009, he served as the President of the HBA. He has chaired several committees at the HBA, earning Committee Chair of the Year award in 2004, the 2007 Builder of the Year Award, and Presidential Award of Merit in 2010. He is also a charter member of Custom Builders Cleveland; a group of forward thinking, local custom home builders that have partnered with local and national suppliers to achieve the buying power that other local builders cannot match. CB Cleveland builder members also share best practices to improve the quality of construction.

Jeff uses his many years of architectural drafting and construction management experience to help owner’s in the design of their new home or remodeling project. His ability to listen to what owner’s want, combined with his architectural skills, and his hands-on construction management practicality, has won several Cleveland Choice Awards, and Circle of Excellence Awards for his designs.
